我們身處在奧勒岡州新月礦區的底下。裏頭又黑又冷，但這些頑固的礦工執意認為礦坑裡藏著金礦。隨行有兩個超自然的探索專家。為什麼呢？因為新月礦區鬧鬼了。有可能是西部拓荒掏金時代或者知名礦區幽靈“Tommy-Knockers”的靈體，探索專家Patrick 和 Kristen前去，想對這些心存疑惑的礦工們，證明這些鬼怪的存在。越往深處前進，就會越黑暗，真相有可能會重見天日嗎？

We’re deep underground in Oregon’s Crescent Mine. It’s dark, cold but these hard rock miners think there might be some gold. And in their company, we’ve got two paranormal investigators. Why? Because Crescent Mine may be haunted. Be it the ghosts of miners from the Gold Rush days or “Tommy-Knockers”, investigators Patrick and Kristen are on the hunt to prove their presence to the dubious miners. The deeper you go, the darker it gets indeed.
