簡介
一位知名的馬賽出版商在弗留利群島的劇場演出《基督山恩仇記》期間被發現死亡。負責調查此案的馬賽刑警隊指揮官Victor Mariani思索著：兇手在勒死受害者後，讓他穿上神父Abbé Faria的僧袍，這究竟想傳達什麼訊息？

Synopsis
A famous Marseille publisher is found dead on the Frioul Islands, in the middle of a theatrical performance of "The Count of Monte Cristo." In charge of the investigation, Victor Mariani, the commander of the Marseille SRPJ, wonders what message the murderer wanted to convey by strangling the victim, before dressing him in a cassock by Abbé Faria. But Victor must face another enigma: the presence of his father, Pierre Mariani, among the spectators. The victim was a former military comrade he hadn't seen for 50 years. Pierre, the legendary Lyon commissioner, is therefore appointed as a consultant on the investigation. This doesn't please Victor, who had done everything to distance himself from his overly intrusive father. But above all, Victor is far from imagining the tragic secret that binds his father to the victim.
