劇情簡介
一名地方人物被發現死於瓦隆蓬達爾克鎮的阿爾代什河畔，兇手是一個年輕的皮艇運動員，凶器是一塊有四萬多年歷史的雕刻石頭，該地區岩洞留下的人類遺跡正好也是四萬多年前。負責調查的警察隊長Riad Lekcir必須與來自研究部門的Manon Ferret-Duval合作。他一點也不期待這次合作，因為痛苦的過去將兩人牽連在一起。1994年12月，遺跡洞穴被發現的同時，Riad的哥哥Kamel被捕，罪名是殺害Manon的父母，Manon當時8 歲。當Kamel發現他的不在場證明無法成立，他在警方拘留期間自殺身亡，。

Synopsis
A local figure is found murdered on the banks of the Ardèche river by young kayakers, in the town of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. The murder weapon is a carved stone dating back more than 40,000 years, a period corresponding to the presence of men in the rock cave of the Region. Gendarmerie Captain Riad Lekcir, in charge of the investigation, must team up with his counterpart in the research section, Manon Ferret-Duval.
A collaboration that does not delight him at all because a painful past binds them. In December 1994, parallel to the discovery of this cave, Kamel, the older brother of Riad, was arrested, accused of having killed the parents of Manon (who was 8 years old at the time). Kamel committed suicide in police custody, seeing his alibi collapse.
Our investigators will have to put aside this heavy past in order to carry out this investigation which will finally establish a link between these two murders perpetrated 30 years apart.

Reception
The crime drama The Pont D’Arc Murders (2 hours) achieved stellar ratings during its first run on France TV. The movie reached an audience of 4.5 million viewers and a market share of 22.4%, making it the evening’s prime time winner by far.
