驚悚片系列《湖畔殺機》第七集，田園詩般的蛇麻花田地，第四次成為連環殺手的命案現場。來自林道的警官MICHA OBERLÄNDER (馬蒂雅斯科布林飾演) ，與來自布雷根茲的HANNAH ZEILER (諾拉馮沃茲史塔汀飾演)，發現JUTTA REIKE的屍體被纏繞在在7公尺高的蛇麻花棚架上。

Synopsis
In the seventh part of the atmospheric thriller “Die Toten vom Bodensee”, the apparent idyll of the hop fields becomes the scene of a serial act for the fourth time. The inspectors MICHA OBERLÄNDER (Matthias Koeberlin) from Lindau and HANNAH ZEILER (Nora von Waldstätten) from Bregenz find the body of JUTTA REIKE draped like in a spider web in one of the 7m high hop frames.
Due to the cross-border explosiveness of the new murder, the case reaches Zeiler and Oberländer, who quickly discover that the victim does not outwardly correspond to the other pattern of the serial perpetrator. Is it the act of a free rider?
When, during the investigation on Lake Constance, the boiler cleaner DIETRICH FALKNER was brutally run over by a motorboat while swimming and the driver flees unrecognized, Zeiler and Oberländer quickly established a connection. The Dead Swimmer is the wanted serial killer. Could this really have been an accident?
A house search reveals trophies of the four victims. With his wife HILDE, Dietrich Falkner also lived withdrawn without social contacts - typical for a serial killer. Everything seems to fit until Zeiler and Oberländer find out that the trophies of the fourth victim are fake and that the profile of a woman who has been missing for days fits into the grid of the serial killer. Now it is clear: there is a second murderer who not only has Dietrich Falkner on his conscience - and a race against time begins to free the last victim of the dead serial offender, who seems to be still in captivity.
