Synopsis
驚悚片系列《湖畔殺機》第六集，來自林道的警探MICHA OBERLÄNDER (馬蒂雅斯科布林飾演) 和來自布雷根茨的 HANNAH ZEILER (諾拉馮沃茲史塔汀飾演）搭檔，調查絞刑架島上的一起暴力死亡案件。
但這次Hannah Zeiler本人涉案。她不但跟隨受害者Jan Dosse來到偏僻之處，隨後Jan遭到毆打並射殺，死者頭部內的子彈竟來自Hannah Zeiler的佩槍。Hannah的前輩ERNST GSCHWENDNER (奧古斯特史默爾澤飾演) 很快地判斷是自殺，但真的是如此嗎？Hannah Zeiler聲稱在現場看到一個包包，現在卻不見踪影。Hannah去找Jan Dosse，到底有什麼事？

Synopsis
In the sixth part of the atmospheric thriller “Die Toten vom Bodensee”, the unequal pair of investigators MICHA OBERLÄNDER (Matthias Koeberlin) from Lindau and HANNAH ZEILER (Nora von Waldstätten) from Bregenz investigate a violent death on the historically important Gallows Island.
But this time Hannah Zeiler is personally involved: she herself followed the victim JAN DOSSE to this remote place, was brutally beaten - and the bullet in the deceased's head comes from Hannah Zeiler's own service weapon. Was it a suicide, as Hannah's former mentor ERNST GSCHWENDNER (August Schmoelzer) quickly stated? But where is the bag that Hannah Zeiler claims to have seen there and that has now disappeared? And what did Hannah want from Jan Dosse anyway?
The first investigations soon reveal Hannah's harrowing, personal connection to the case: the deceased had just been released from more than 20 years in prison and apparently had Hannah herself and the disappearance of her father HERMANN ZEILER in focus 20 years ago. Didn't this man believe that Hannah's father was killed in the sailing accident 20 years ago? And what did today's murder victim have in common with Chief Public Prosecutor Dr. Hermann Zeiler?
The two commissioners soon find themselves in a puzzling and intricate case that is characterized by breaches of trust, false friendships, inheritance stealth and boundless greed. A case that shows Hannah Zeiler the painful depths of her own family.
Zeiler and Oberländer come to their personal limits in their sixth joint fall. The relationship between the two commissioners is put to a severe test, in which Oberländer ultimately has to make a momentous decision that will determine Hannah Zeiler's life forever.
