17歲的Noel(提米克里德飾演)、11歲的Paudie(保羅寇特尼飾演)和8歲的Scwally(TJ格里芬) 是三兄弟,他們開著一輛偷來的麵包車,要幫病重父親把他最珍愛的廉價卡西歐手錶換成另一支。

Synopsis
Stealing a dodgy bread van Noel, Paudie and Scwally set out on an adventure across the wild Irish landscape to replace their dying father’s watch. Trouble comes their way immediately as the van continually breaks down and the estranged brothers start bickering at each other. After being sidetracked and bumping into odd characters along their journey the boys finally arrive at their destination, the seaside town of Ballybunion, where an identical watch to their father’s broken one sits in an arcade machine. Emotions come to a head when they cant extract the watch. Heading home, exhausted and homesick, the boys come to the realization that what they have in life is each other. And that from now on, they’ll have to look out for each other.

Synopsis
Set in small Irish community over Halloween weekend, 1987. Three brothers – Noel (Creed), age 17; Paudie (Courtney), 11; and Scwally (Griffin) aged eight – take to the road in a stolen bakery van to replace the cheap Casio watch prized by their dying father; the eldest had surreptitiously slipped it off the man’s wrist so he would have a memento after the man’s passing.

Synopsis
From the producers of last year’s award-winning “The Eclipse,” “My Brothers” is a beautiful and heartwarming road movie set during the Halloween weekend of 1987. The eldest of three boys, 17-year-old Noel has always been the reserved, serious, and responsible one.

When he accidentally breaks his dying father’s wristwatch that he won from an arcade in the town of Ballybunion, he “borrows” his boss’ bread van with his two younger brothers—11-year-old Paudie and seven-year-old Scwally—in tow. Paudie is a bit cocky and not so bright but dreams of playing for the Liverpool soccer team. Scwally has never seen Star Wars but is obsessed with it. On the trip, brotherly differences—and similarities—turn the journey into more than what they expected.

Interview with the Director, Paul Fraser:
My Brothers is Paul’s directorial debut.
Your three young stars - Timmy Creed, Paul Courtney and TJ Griffin - are fantastic in the film. How did you find them?....

Trivia:
You had a famous helping hand with the songs?
Through a connection with the Irish Film Board we got in touch with the lead singer of Snow Patrol, Gary Lightbody. He asked if we wanted to co-write some songs. Co-write songs with Gary Lightbody! He blew me away. I didn’t want the music to go all retro; I just wanted it to serve this character driven little odyssey.

Reviews:
Longtime Shane Meadows collaborator Paul Fraser makes his feature directing debut with "My Brothers," a small but scrappy road-tripper whose solid sense of place and sure-handed blend of poignancy and unsentimental humor should earn it fans on the arthouse circuit.
