In the brand new season of Merlin, Camelot stands on the brink of a golden age. But its birth will not be an easy one. For the forces of evil are gathering and the darkest hour is just before the dawn. Merlin faces his greatest challenge yet when the sorceress Morgana, at the peak of her powers, unleashes mighty forces from another world in her bid to destroy Arthur’s destiny. When Arthur discovers that swords and shields won’t be enough to protect his beloved kingdom, it will fall to Merlin to make the ultimate sacrifice. Friendship and loyalty must be tested by metal and fire, before Camelot —and the world as Merlin and Arthur know it— is changed forever.

As Camelot's humble court physician, Gaius(Richard Wilson飾) is a trusted advisor to the King. But he is also Merlin's guardian and the only one who know his secret. Gaius uses his unparalleled knowledge to help the young warlock keep the kingdom safe.

 

亞瑟王子 Prince Arthur

Blessed with good looks and outstanding fighting ability, Prince Arthur(Bradley James) is heir to Uther's throne and has the future of Camelot on his shoulders.

Merlin(Colin Morgan) will one day grow up to be the greatest wizard the world will ever know. For now he's just a young man, living in Camelot and working as Prince Arthur's manservant. Merlin must secretly use his magic to keep Arthur and the kingdom safe.
