廚刀全上場-澳洲最受歡迎的烹飪節目將進入第4季,節目將另外邀請更多來賓。一同歡迎新評審首次進行矇眼食物品嘗,而對觀眾而言最大的震撼莫過於知道誰會從《我的廚房我做主》的晚宴敗陣下來?你認為是誰呢?有一件事是無庸置疑的:節目充滿許多的驚喜,尚未揭曉。Manu Feildel 與Pete Evans 重回節目執主持棒,受邀到全國各州的晚宴擔任最終烹飪大賽的評審。本季他們邀請新的來賓Colin Fassnidge擔任評審,同時也邀請Guy Grossi, Karen Martini 和Liz Egan再次擔任評審。現在是州對州,盤對盤的對抗。兩個人一組進行對決,決定誰能在廚房當家作主。每一組還要輪流在壓力鍋夜將一個普通的家庭廚房變身為餐廳。 他們還要設計三道菜讓參賽者與貴賓評審驚艷。他們在分秒必爭,大膽展現廚藝的過程當中當然除了會有勝出者,還有廚房火候,還有笑聲,淚水與毒舌挑剔評審。最棒的的兩組還要參加最後總決賽,他們將呈現他們完整的宴會菜單給餐廳。為了二十五萬的高額獎金,所有的刀和廚具都要上場。

The knives are out – Australia’s top home-cooking show returns for its fourth season and the table will be set for a few extra guests. Welcoming a new judge along with blind taste testing for the first time, the biggest shock for audiences will be seeing who’s crashing the My Kitchen Rules dinner parties. Who do you think it could be?  One thing is certain: there are plenty of surprises in store. Manu Feildel and Pete Evans return to host and judge the ultimate home-cooking battle as they accept dinner party invites in each state across the country. This series they welcome new guest judge Colin Fassnidge to the table alongside returning guest judges Guy Grossi, Karen Martini and Liz Egan.It’s state versus state, plate against plate, as teams of two attempt to out-dine and out-wine each other to see whose kitchen rules. Each team will take turns to transform an ordinary home into an instant restaurant for one pressure cooker night. They’ll serve up a three course menu designed to impress not only their fellow contestants but our esteemed judges. There will be triumphs, kitchen fires, laughter, tears and plenty of opinionated guests as they battle the clock and their nerves to plate up on time. The top two teams will again battle it out in the grand final where they will present their ultimate dining menu to a full restaurant. With $250,000 in prize money on offer, the knives will definitely be out.

主持人/評審-Pete Evans

雖然節目已經發掘出幾組令人印象深刻的隊伍,但主持人兼評審Pete Evans認為這一季的隊伍的烹飪天賦是他看過最好的。「節目內容主要是參賽隊伍間的化學作用,我必須說這一季有最棒的組合,絕佳的烹飪技術和相輔相成的性格」他興奮地說道。Pete本季將會為屢屢創新的菜色感到驚艷。「我喜愛健康料理,像是使用羽衣甘藍的料理。我喜愛它的味道,並且使用用途很廣泛。」Pete多才多藝,除了從2009年開始主持本節目外,他是位名廚、企業家、作家和人父。

My Kitchen Rules has already unearthed some impressive teams, but judge and host Pete Evans thinks the cooking talent this year could be the best he’s seen yet. "This show is all about the chemistry of the teams and I have to say that this series has the best mix of contestants ever – amazing cooking skills and personalities to match," he says excitedly.  Pete has been excited by the innovative dishes coming across the table this year. "I love the fact that some health foods have popped up, including kale. I just love the flavour of it and you can do so much with it." Pete is a man of many talents – in addition to co-hosting My Kitchen Rules since 2009, he is a respected chef, businessman, author and dad.

如果說有件事是全新一季的「我的廚房我作主」參賽者已經知道關於主持人和評審Manu Feildel的事,就是:別忘了醬料!這是他節目裡令人耳熟能詳的句子,雖然時常掛在嘴上,這位法國出身的主廚還是很驚訝還是有很多人會忘記。「看到人犯錯,事情出差錯總是很有意思,其中有很簡單的一點─送出去給評審前你得自己先嘗過」Manu說道,當然又俏皮說了一次「醬料呢!」他認為本季參賽隊伍很熱衷做義大利料理,「我想其中的原因在於義大利料理很大的主軸在於讓配方本身,如何呈現出完美效果。」

If there’s one thing contestants in the new series of My Kitchen Rules should already know about judge Manu Feildel is: don’t forget the sauce! While it may have become his catch-cry on the show, the French-born chef is still surprised by how often it is forgotten.  "It’s always interesting to see the things that people get wrong and one of them is so simple – you should try the entire dish before sending it to the judges," he says, adding cheekily, "And of course, ‘Where’s the sauce!’" Manu says Italian cooking is popular among the series four teams. "The reason I think is that Italian food is all about making the ingredients shine."
